Former Tanjong Pagar Railway Station to open on New Year’s Day

1         The iconic Tanjong Pagar Railway Station (TPRS) will open its doors to the public on New Year’s Day this Friday, 1 January 2016, from 9am to 6pm.

2          With the long weekend, members of the public can take a walk down memory lane and reminisce about the history of TPRS. They are invited to take photographs and sketch their impressions of the national monument. We welcome the public to deposit their drawings at the former ticketing counter of the station. Drawings may be displayed at future openings.

3          Gazetted as a national monument since 2011, TPRS is open to the public on public holidays for people to enjoy the State property. More information about the Open House can be found on SLA’s website.
