1. The Singapore Land Authority (SLA) has launched the Former Alkaff Mansion at 10, Telok Blangah Green for use as F&B/restaurant, art gallery, wellness/spa facilities and museum, today. The site has a land area of about 8,983.6 square metres (sq m) and an approximate Gross Floor Area of 1,220 sq m. The tenancy is for an intial term of 3-years and is renewable for another two terms of three years each. Please refer to Annex A for the location map and photo of Alkaff Mansion.

2. The former Alkaff Mansion has a rich historical legacy and sits majestically on a hill-top. It was given conservation status on 9 Jun 2005. Since the property was posted on SLA's online portal (http://www.spio.sla.gov.sg), we have received more than 50 enquiries from many individuals and businesses.

3. The site showround for the Former Alkaff Mansion will be on 24 Mar 2010. The tender will remain open for three weeks from today, 16 Mar 2010 and will close on 6 April at 11 am sharp. About SLA
Singapore Land Authority (SLA) is a statutory board with the Ministry of Law. Its mission is to optimise land resources for the economic and social development of Singapore.
