GEO Search in Questnet, Singapore Credit and Business information portal for business and credit professional, provides an interactive tool for users to search for companies by Keyword, Business Activities, and Location. It allows users to select the specified location directly from OneMap or filter through those companies that fall within a specified Postal Code. GEO Search in DP Info’s powerful marketing tool, OnTarget, allows users to select companies by geographical location directly from OneMap to generate marketing leads.

MapKing (Singapore) Pte Ltd- MapKing Live

MapKing Live is an application created for mobile device users to access location-based information from the government, businesses and community. A unique feature of MapKing Live is the collating of information from various sources and presenting the information to users either on a map interface or via live camera interface also known as "augmented reality". Both interfaces are powered by OneMap. The images seen on the mobile devices of MapKing Live comprise the immediate surroundings which are augmented with computer-processed information. MapKing Live is also available on desktops.

National Volunteer and Philanthropy Centre- SG Cares

The National Volunteer and Philanthropy Centre has launched a new volunteer-raising initiative called Singapore Cares (SG Cares) which allows volunteers to seek out community social involvement opportunities that match their interest, availability and location. With OneMap in the portal, volunteers are able to search various categories such as interest and beneficiary and view activity details by mousing over the different locations. There is also a direct link to sign up for the chosen activity in the portal.

Nature Society (Singapore) – Bird Watching Hotspots in Singapore

The Nature Society (Singapore) has produced an online facility, powered by OneMap, to show the Birdwatching Hotspots in Singapore. This map gives the public a snap-shot of the important bird sites that are well-known among birdwatchers. It contains all the essential information of their habitats and key species, and serves as a guide to finding butterflies, mammals and reptiles as these areas are also rich in other wildlife.

Quantum Inventions Pte Ltd- Customised Real-time Navigation

The customised connected dynamic navigation system by Quantum Inventions provides users with dynamic routing assistance through the integration of real time traffic information and inputs from users on current road conditions. It also allows a user to synchronise and download personal schedules, tagged with location information, onto personal navigation devices, eliminating the need to conduct a destination search before the user embarks on his journey. Users can search, save and share routes and locations with friends over social networks such as Facebook. Both the portal and mobile application of Quantum Inventions are embedded with OneMap.

ShowNearby Pte Ltd- ShowNearby Analytics

ShowNearby Analytics is a location intelligence service which allows business users and individuals to analyse information based on user-selected criteria. Using OneMap as part of its recommendation engine, ShowNearby Analytics displays the suggested locations in Singapore in a visual manner on a desktop computer.

Business users can search for a new location for a business by reviewing existing competitors in the vicinity of an identified area and estimate possible demand by analysing available demographics information. For potential home buyers, ShowNearby Analytics can gather location and amenities-related information to enable users to make critical investment decisions.

Surround Networks provides a location-based service to connect mobile device users to their surroundings in both indoor and outdoor environment. Users can have discretionary access to real-time information and services, such as bus arrival times, and promotional messages from retailers and promoters in the vicinity on discounts and events. Surround Networks services are also available on desktop computers at no charge. OneMap provides the mapping services and information that empower the innovative services from Surround Networks.

Businesses for Families Council- Businesses for Families Initiative

The Businesses for Families Council helps businesses adopt strategies, infrastructure and services to cater to families. This supports the government’s aim of making Singapore the best place for families and children. To date, close to 4,000 family-friendly establishments have adopted the Businesses for Families Pledge, while 250 establishments have attained the Businesses for Families Mark. The information available on OneMap allows families to easily locate and patronise these family-friendly establishments around the island.

Ministry of Education- SchoolQuery

Under MOE’s current guidelines, priority is given to children living within 1 km of their school of choice, followed by children living between 1 km and 2 km of their school of choice. Using SchoolQuery on OneMap, parents can search for a list of primary schools within the requisite range of a specified property, or can show the properties within the range of a specified primary school. Parents interested in purchasing a property near their school of choice will also benefit from this service.

National Parks Board- Parks “Live”

Discover a thriving habitat of unique flora and fauna in the mangrove swamp, enjoy the sights and smells of the Kitchen Garden, venture into the Maze Garden to find 2D images of mangrove animals, gallop in the lush fields of Pasir Ris on a pony or indulge in delectable seafood by the beach.

Parks “Live” is NParks’ new mobile map application that will show you your exact location and help you navigate within the 73-hectare park! Plus, you’ll be able to find out more about our guided walks and learn interesting facts on nature.

Parks “Live” was developed by the Centre for IT Innovation, Nanyang Polytechnic, for iphones and windows-based platform phones using OneMap.

Singapore Land Authority- LandQuery

LandQuery on OneMap, a free e-service, provides ownership information on public land, including the managing agent of the land, and contact details. Users can search for the information via the location/address of the site or its cadastral lot number. Individuals or organizations with queries on any plot of public land can readily search for the owner and send in their enquiries through LandQuery directly to the relevant owner.

Urban Redevelopment Authority – Season Parking eMap Service

The Urban Redevelopment Authority launched the eMap service in December 2009 to facilitate applications for season parking through the use of OneMap. With the eMap service, applicants can now search for their desired carpark and apply for season parking online. The innovative eMap service is expected to benefit over 6,000 customers yearly.
