Former Alkaff Mansion awarded to LES Pte Ltd

1 18 June 2010 - The Singapore Land Authority (SLA) has awarded LES Pte Ltd a tenancy for the former Alkaff Mansion at 10, Telok Blangah Green. The approved uses at the site are F&B/restaurant, art gallery, wellness/spa facilities and museum.

2 The tenancy is for an initial term of 3-years and is renewable for another two terms of three years each. SLA received a total of 9 bids, with LES Pte Ltd, submitting a bid of S$79,251 per month. Refer to Annex A for the list of bidders.

3 The former Alkaff Mansion was designated a conservation building on 9 Jun 2005. The site has a land area of about 8,983.6 square metres (sq m) and an approximate Gross Floor Area of 1,220 sq m.

About SLA
Singapore Land Authority (SLA) is a statutory board with the Ministry of Law. Its mission is to optimise land resources for the economic and social development of Singapore. SLA is responsible for the direct management of some 14,000 hectares of State land and about 5,000 buildings. It is also in charge of land sales, leases, acquisitions and allocation, developing and marketing land-related information, and maintaining the national land information database through digitised land information services.
