  • Former Tanglin Camp at Dempsey Road

Some of the other State properties will also be used for S2006 social programmes, such as the Singapore Biennale 2006 and specially designed local tours. Former City Hall and former Tanglin Camp (Blocks 71 -73 Loewen Road) are issued Non-renewable Temporary Occupation Licence (NRTOL) to NAC for Singapore Biennale (1 Sep - 12 Nov):

With over 400,000 people expected to visit the Loewen Road properties within the Dempsey cluster for Singapore Biennale 2006, SLA will erect additional friendly directional signs to help visitors better orientate in the area. Historical plaques and signboards will also be put up to introduce the history of the area as well as individual buildings there.
