Fallen Tree along Loewen Road at Dempsey

SLA is aware of a fallen tree incident along Loewen Road at Dempsey which occurred on Saturday 22 August 2026 at around 10 AM and have responded to the situation on site with the relevant stakeholders and agencies.

2        The immediate priority is to ensure public safety, secure the affected area and facilitate the safe removal of the fallen tree to minimize disruption. There were no major injuries reported from the incident.

3        SLA, together with the relevant stakeholders and agencies, will also assess the circumstances surrounding the incident and determine any necessary follow-up measures, including checks on surrounding trees where appropriate.

4        All other locations in Dempsey remain accessible. We thank members of the public for their patience and cooperation while the necessary works are carried out.
