
- Have offered at least 4 'A' level subjects and preferably a minmum of 1 'S' paper
- Have excellent GCE 'A' Level results or equivalent
- Outstanding university results (for current undergraduates)
- Have active participation in Co-Curricular Activities (CCA). Preference will be given to those with a leadership record
- Be medically fit.
The scholarship is tenable for all courses of study except medicine and dentistry. Successful applicants are not allowed to change their course of study without SLA's prior approval.
Successful applicants for the SLA Local Scholarship Award are required to stay in the university hostels for at least one academic year.
Successful applicants will serve SLA for a period of 4 years for the local undergraduate scholarship.
The local scholarship covers tuition, hostel fees and an annual allowance of $6,000.
During your career in SLA, you will undergo a comprehensive training and development programme that includes the opportunity for exposure to different functional areas and projects.
Selection interviews will be conducted between April and May of the year. Candidates shortlisted for the interview will be required to undergo psychometric testing.
