Deputy Director, GeoSpatial
    Job Scope:
    Deputise Director/GeoSpatial in the planning, governance, promotion and development of geospatial information and technology in Singapore

    Responsibilities include:
  • Oversees the GeoSpatial Planning and Development department on the strategic planning, policy and standards formulation, promotion, capacity building, industry and academic collaboration and technological development relating to geospatial information and technology, as well as the licensing of geospatial data and the protection of the associated intellectual property
  • Oversees the GeoSpatial Information and Services department on the operations of geospatial infrastructure, databases and systems such as OneMap, GeoSpace, INLIS, etc. as well as related projects

    Requirements:
  • Degree in any discipline
  • At least 10 years working experience with at least 3 years experience running a business unit
  • Essential to have good knowledge and experience in geospatial information and technology and the management of Intellectual Property Rights

Manager, GeoSpatial Development
    Job Scope:
  • Responsible for developing policies, strategies and business models to promote the use of SLA data and e-services
  • Establish good relationships with other agencies and business partners and to collaborate with them on strategic projects
  • Lead and manage a team to achieve the department's objectives, which include organising initiatives to promote SLA data and e-services, negotiating for license agreements, protecting Intellectual Property, etc

    Requirements:
  • Degree in any discipline
  • 8 years of work experience, with at least 2 years in supervisory role
  • Strong interpersonal and communications skills
  • Pro-active, tech savvy and with good business acumen
  • Experience in geospatial science, eg GIS, Remote Sensing, GPS or related is preferred
  • Knowledge or experience in Intellectual Property Rights (IPR) and/or license agreement negotiation will be an added advantage

Legal Counsel
    Job Scope:
  • You will be a member of the Legal Division, providing legal advice on a wide range of issues relating to the sale, allocation, leasing and management of state land and properties including privatization/divestment of properties. You will also advise on compulsory acquisition, purchase or surrender of private lands and Intellectual Property (IP) issues as well regulatory issues relating to the registration and issuance of land titles and the administration of Land Titles Act, the Land Titles (Strata) Act and the Residential Property Act
  • You will be involved in identifying and advising on legal risks in all aspects of the Authority's corporate affairs including law reform and drafting of legislation

Senior GeoSpatial Executive, GeoSpatial Development
    Job Scope:
  • Promote and proliferate the use of GIS and geospatial information among the public agencies, businesses and the community through various channels and activities e.g. GIS training, competition, forum, talks, etc
  • Manage geospatial-related projects within SLA as well as those under collaboration with public agencies, businesses and community organisations
  • Provide geospatial consultancy services in the area of analysis and technology to other teams within SLA and public agencies, businesses and community organisations
  • Conceptualise and create proof-of-concept or pilot GIS applications

    Requirements:
  • Degree in GIS, Computer Science, Engineering, Geography or related
  • At least 1 year of working experience related to GIS, mapping or land information system is preferred

    Job Scope:

Senior Executive/Executive, Land Titles Registry
    Job Scope:
  • Process and register legal documents for all land transactions involving private, public, commercial and industrial properties within the service standards; as well as ensure the accuracy and reliability of the Land Register System
  • Deal with members of the public as well as solicitors involved in the conveyancing process
  • Deal with other ministries and agencies eg. CPF Board, URA, LTA, JTC and HDB on land registration matters

    Requirements:
  • Degree in Law or Diploma in Legal studies, or at least 10 years' experience as a conveyancing secretary in a law firm
  • Have good knowledge of land and conveyancing law practice and the relevant legislations, Land Titles Act, Land Titles (Strata) Act, Residential Property Act and other laws in areas such as bankruptcy, corporate, and trusts and succession
